trainingTwits FAQ's
Do I have to tweet, or can I just log a workout?
It's up to you. Not feeling too social, but still want to log and track your workout? Just uncheck Tweet This? and we'll log your data but keep it private for you. It remains chartable and trackable inside of your account, whether or not you tweet about it.

Also, if you want to tweet about your workout, but don't like the automatic text that is generated, simply overwrite it with whatever you'd like. We'll still log your workout based on what you entered in the data fields.
Can I edit old entries, or enter old workouts I forgot to tweet about?
Yes you can. Click the Dashboard tab, then click either Running, Biking, or Swimming. By clicking on any workout listed you can manually edit any of the data fields. You can also “add” or “delete” from this screen.
Can I do this from anywhere, or do I have to log in here?
Logging your workouts from trainingtwits.com is fun and convenient because of our cool tweet tool, but it's important to know that you can log your workout from any Twitter interface: Twhirl, Tweetdeck, Twitterberry, etc. Just use the format below and trainingTwits will record the data from your tweet and log it in your journal! Here's an exact diagram of how to do it for running, biking, or swimming:

For swimming, use "swam" and for biking, use "rode". Your tweet can contain anything else at all; so long as it includes that format for your workout data, it will be logged in your journal. For instance, the above example could be tweeted, "Colder out there than I thought. I ran(6.8, 01:03:20) down to the lake and back. Brrr!"

For distance you can use as many as two decimal places, or none at all, and for time, be sure to use the full hh:mm:ss format. Zeroes are fine to use if you prefer to round off.

Your unit of measurement will be determined by the measurement system you set in your profile, so be sure to log in to trainingtwits.com, click on Profile, and select Imperial (yards and miles) or Metric (meters and kilometers) depending on what you prefer.

We will continually work to refine and improve this feature!
